Have the Best Time with Your Kids at Dairyland Farm World

Visiting Newquay is a great adventure as there are not only Newquay attractions for you to explore but other fascinating activities you can do and adventures you can try. If you are looking for Newquay attractions where you can take your kids, there are several in Newquay dependin on the interests of your kids. You must visit the Dairyland Farm World which is 120-acre working farm. There are many things to do at Dairyland Farm World which will not only bring the kids great fun but will also let them learn more about the animal world and life in the farm.

The Farm Park

The Farm Park is one of the main features of Dairyland Farm World, one of Newquay attractions. It allows the kids to try out many interesting activities. They can go around or try out a ride on the mini tractors.

They also get the chance to meet the different farm animals like goats, chicken, rabbits, cows, ferrets and more. The kids can participate in bottle feeding the different baby animals that need to be bottle fed such as the baby goats. You can also go to the Pat a Pet section so you can get up close and hold or pet the different animals that you can see at the farm. Try out the pony rides as well and know how enjoyable it is to be riding on a pony. The Milking Parlour is one place you must not miss. 120 cows are milked here daily and you will even get the chance to milk Clarabelle.

The Bull Pen

The Bull Pen is the children’s indoor play area that is suitable for small or big kids. Parents and guardians can join in too to watch over the kids and join in the fun. It is a total of more than 12,000 square feet of play area. For the older ones, they can try out the Adventure Zone where they can climb, slide, jump, run and have fun.  For the more daring, try out the exciting drop slides or the exhilarating Tumble Tower.  The kids can also try out the Astra slides, fireman’s pole or the climbing nets. The little ones can play in the ball pools. From 3rd January until 25th March, they are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday and the admission fee is £3.95 for children while adults are free. On Saturday, Sunday and School holidays, opening times are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and admission fee is £5.75 for children and free for adults. You can also get a winter membership with unlimited entry at £30 for one child, £50 for 2 children, £65 for 3 children. Adults are still free. Please check with their office for admission prices and opening times after the winter season while planning out the different Newquay attractions you plan to visit during your holidays.

Facilities

There are just so many things to see at Dairyland Farm World. You can relax at the woodland lakes or explore the nature trails. You can even have some delicious food and drinks, Cornish Cream teas, homemade ice cream or pick up some prepared picnics at Clarabelle’s Kitchen. Dairy produce, clotted cream are also available for you to take out. Going to the farm is something that will fascinate the whole family.
